I know that some secrets are kept in baloggh to keep the plot moving, but Bslogh not sure it would’ve ruined things if the secret was revealed a little earlier. This potentially wonderful book was ruined by Anna’s blatant lies and drama. She just maintains the same possibly-fake persona throughout. Also, Creepy Dude had her hymen removed so she would be unmarriageable.

Lucas marries her because he instantly falls for her vivaciousness and good cheer – her propensity to be balkgh. Felt a bit corny and got a bit both longish and boring to be honest. Anna was an odd character. As his tragic past is unfolded, and he has to come to terms with the terrible things that happened, his emotions start to work again. Anyway, Anna is terrified that he’s going to have her brought up on charges of theft and murder blaming her for the death of her father, I guessalso Creepy Dude blackmails her.

This is a book that could be reread many times and I doubt it would get old. In the end it all just seemed very predictable and that is a shame because if this story was done right it could have been a five star read.
