This book was ridiculous elojsa silly and absurd. The humor is typical Eloisa James and in most other respects, it’s a standard historical romance novel.
Henrietta never expected to be wooed, but meeting Simon changes everything. And reminders that even though he was covered in lace, head to toe, that he was still very manly and masculine and assuredly not effeminate. So Henrietta lets her imagination soar and writes…. You are far more symmetrical than is Lucy Aiken, for all her thousands. There was no point to discussing it, and a gentleman never discussed such things anyway, especially when in the company of people who beat each other with kitchen implements.
